Tyger was purchased to cross with some of our spotted and black jennets in hopes of producing dark spotted foals. Combining his easy going demeanor with his impeccable pedigree, we thought we could not go wrong! Tyger has been a consistent spot and black producer for us. His babies are usually colorful, always friendly, and are built very well. Tyger is a gentleman with his ladies and for us as well when it comes time for trimming feet and general handling. He enjoys people and getting attention from them. He has definately been an asset to our farm!

Buddy is our main man here at Shorecrest Farms, and has produced fabulous foals for us over the past 4 years. Buddy throws nice conformation and small size on all his babies, and although his color is not dominant in the babies, he does occasionally throw a sorrel for us. We've had black, grey, sorrel, sorrel and white spotted, grey and white spotted and brown foals out of Buddy. We've retained 4 of his daughters and so far, 2007 is proving to be a jennet year with Buddy throwing 5 out 5 jennet foals for us, so I anticipate hanging onto one or two of these girls as well. We are thrilled with Buddy's work for us and look forward to many, many more good things to come from him these coming years.

Ivan was retained from our 2007 foals because of his build and his bloodlines. Not only is he very handsome and built like a tank, he is also unrelated to about 98% of our herd. We look forward to what these new bloodlines will produce. With the colors and small sizes in his background, particularly through his sire, Windcrest Java, we are anxious to cross Ivan with some of our girls. We are expecting his first few foals to arrive in 2010.
