Dark Brown/Gray Jennet w/Dark Nose
DOB 7/10/08

Sire:  Wit's End Tyger Heart, 33.5" Dark Spotted
Grand Sire:  Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, 31.5" Black/Brown w/NLP
Grand Dam:  Windcrest Noelle, 32.5" Brown/White Spot

Dam:  Shorecrest's Molly Brown, 33" Dark Brown
Grand Sire:  Heartland Acres Gus, 31" Black
Grand Dam:  Orchard Farm Anita, 32.5" Dark Brown

Wow! This perfect little jennet is Molly's second foal, and is only Tyger's 5th. This was a combination we will definately repeat! Cynders is just plain awesome, for lack of a better description! I can't find a thing I would improve on her, from her conformation, build, color, pedigree, right down to her climb-in-your-lap personality.

Through her sire, Cynders has notable bloodlines including the likes of Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, My World Buster and even Circle C Little Motown (her great-great grandsire!). Cynders also boasts a full pedigree top and bottom on her dam's side going back to the imports. She will make a fantastic brood jennet one day, no doubt! Cynders is one of our best so far this year (and one of our favorites!!) and likely will wind up staying here as one of our own unless someone claims her quickly before we've made our final decision!

DOB 3/18/09

Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Red
Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Red
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Red

Dam:  Brumar's Guardian Angel, 33" Black,no cross
Grand Sire:  Dewey Meadows Armani, 34" Gray
Grand Dam:  Coco, 34" Dark Brown

This little guy will make a super pet for someone. He has a terrific build, nice and square, good legs, and should mature in the 32-33" range. P.J. has a nice pedigree behind him as well and has a friendly personality. He will be registered before leaving our farm and can be weaned close to the end of July. P.J. must go to a home having at least one other donkey as a companion.

Gray & White Spotted Jack

Birth Height: 26"

Sire:  Wit's End Tyger Heart, 33.5" Dark Spotted
Grand Sire:  Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, 31.5" Black/Brown w/NLP
Grand Dam:  Windcrest Noelle, 32.5" Brown/White Sp

Dam:  Shorecrests Annabelle, 42" Dark Brown Miniature/Standard Cross
      Grand Sire:  Untraced
      Grand Dam:  Untraced

Parker is a fantastic foal.. and wouldn't you know, we'd get this kind of color out of the only unregistered jennet we have on our entire farm! Annabelle is the product of a miniature donkey crossed with a standard donkey and is unregistered. Parker's sire, however, is a registered miniature donkey, making Parker about 3/4 miniature. This is the first foal we've had from Annabelle so we aren't exactly sure what to expect size-wise from Parker, but judging by his sire's height of 33.5" and his dam's height of 42", I'd venture a guess of Parker maturing in the 38" range. Parker is friendly as can be, and is gorgeous to look at. He would make a wonderful driving donkey or just a fancy pasture ornament. Must go to a home having at least one other donkey as a friend.

Grand Dam:  Orchard Farms Anita, 32.5" Dark Brown

Presley is an awesome little jack who could have a future as either a pet gelding or a possible herd sire. He has the pedigree, conformation, color and size for breeding and is a very friendly and happy little donkey. His pedigree is filled on top and bottom and is traced back to the imports with small sizes and a myriad of colors. As with all of our donkeys, Presley must go to a new home having at least one other donkey as a friend. He can be weaned at the end of November and we can deliver if needed.

Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Dark Sorrel
Grand Dam:  Gladybrook Ms. Ditto, 33.5" Dark Brown/White Spot

Meet Pilot!!! We were so excited to see all of the color on this little guy! Kandi has always had solid colored foals for us, despite her own mother having been a spot, so we were very pleasantly surprised! Pilot is a perfect foal, from his pedigree, to his color, his personality to his build. We are very happy with the way Pilot is growing and have decided to offer him as a future herdsire prospect. Our first thought was to retain him, but since his mother is a sister of our main herdsire, Buddy, we realized that Pilot is simply related to too many of our young jennets to make keeping him worthwhile for our breeding program. While we can't make any promises or guarantees, we can say that he is one of the best jack foals we've had over the past 10 years and are very confident that he is an excellent prospect to take a chance on. Come meet him in person, you will fall in love!

Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Sorrel
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Sorrel

Grand Sire:   Dewey Meadows Gucci, 31.5" Black
Grand Dam:  Dewey Meadows Calico, 34.5" Brown/White Spot

A neat little foal, Patrick is friendly as can be and is very nicely put together. We were hoping for a little more color out of this baby, since the last pairing between these two was a fantastic spotted jennet foal, Camouflauge, but nonetheless, Patrick is a healthy foal and cute as can be, so we are happy! Patrick will likely mature to around 33". He will make a wonderful pet and companion and will be registered prior to leaving our farm. Must go to a home having at least one other donkey as a friend.

Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Red
Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Red
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Red

Dam:  Shorecrests Adorable, 31.5" Gray
Grand Sire:  Shorecrets Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Red
Grand Dam:  Hickory Hills Jessica, 32" Gray

This tiny little bundle is one of my kids' favorites. Born on Easter morning, Bunnie is out of one of our smallest jennets, Dora. Bunnie is a very light red at this point and is very small. I wouldn't expect her to pass 32" at maturity. She has a very sweet, laid back and friendly personality and loves attention. She will be registered prior to leaving our farm and as with all of our donkeys, Bunnie must go to a home having at least one other donkey as a companion.

Preston is a perfect little foal, has a nice short back, round rear, straight legs and is a rich dark brown color with just a few white hairs on his forehead to set him apart from the rest. He should mature small, likely around 32".

32" Black Jennet
Birth Height:  22"
DOB 4/26/02

Sire:  Heartland Acres Gus, 31" Black
Grand Sire:  SNS Tiny Tim, Brown (out of a 31" X 30" cross)
Grand Dam:  SNS Fudgie, Brown (out of a 31" sire)

Dam:  SNS Murphy Brown, 34" Dark Brown
Grand Sire:  SNS Tiny Tim, Brown
Grand Dam:  SNS Coco I, Brown

I kept Morgan from our 2002 foals, hoping that she would one day become one of our top brood jennets. Morgan matured into exactly what I had hoped for, maturing small at 32" and all the while, keeping her perfect conformation that she had as a foal. I did not expect to ever be offering her for sale to a new home, but sometimes unexpected things happen. In this case, we've been unsuccessful in getting Morgan to settle in foal the past several years. Morgan has been exposed to two of our jacks since 2005 when she turned 3 years old. She routinely comes in season, but has yet to settle in foal. I hate to feel like we are giving up on her too soon, but to be honest, we are looking to cut our herd down a little this year anyway, and although there are several tests we could have the vet do to with Morgan, we have chosen to offer her as she is, knowing that she's been pasture exposed for the past 3 years and has not yet come in foal. She will make a wonderful pet for someone, or if you have a jack and a small herd of jennets, take a chance on her and you may one day be surprised with a foal. She is otherwise healthy and up to date on all of her vaccinations (5-way, Rabies, WNV, Potomac) and is registered through ADMS as well. Morgan is used to being with other donkeys 24/7, so I will only allow her to go a home with at least one other donkey as a buddy.

Grand Sire:  Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, 31.5" Black/Brown w/NLP
Grand Dam:  Windcrest Noelle, 32.5" Brown/White Spot

Dam:  LDF Diascia, 33" Brown
Grand Sire:  PMF Chico Bandito, 32" Brown/Gray w/NLP
Grand Dam:  SNS Murphy Brown, 34" Dark Brown

A carbon copy to his older full brother, Benjamin, Pierre is just fantastic. He is black with a small star and visible cross and is tiny as anything. Pierre (named by my dad before I had the chance to come up with a "distinguished" name on my own!) is so very cuddly and friendly, and just adores attention from people. He has a nice, full pedigree from both sire and dam and should mature around 33". He will be registered prior to leaving our farm and must go to a home having at least one other donkey as a companion.

Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Red
Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Red
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Red

Dam:  TST Dolly, 34" Gray *MSF (masked spotting factor)
      Grand Sire:  Untraced
      Grand Dam:  Untraced

An awesome little jack foal, Princeton has a very nice build and likely will mature in the 33" range. His red color makes him stand out in the pasture, and his color should darken as he matures. Because his dam's pedigree is untraced and since he will probably mature over 32", Princeton is being sold as pet-quality. He will make a wonderful, friendly addition to your family, or would also make a fine show gelding. He will be registered prior to leaving our farm and must go to a home having at least one other donkey as a companion.

Well, there is a story behind little Percy's unique name. When Percy was born, his mother had no milk. Percy was energetic from the get-go, but was so tiny, and would nurse and nurse, but we were concerned those first few hours because there was no milk bag. Worried about a lack of colostrum, we started calling everyone we could think of looking for equine colostrum. Finally, our vet came through and located some frozen Percheron mare milk. Yup -- this little guy got his first boost in life from a gigantic work horse mare!

The "fool" part of his name.. well, we diligently kept up per the vets instructions with the donated colostrum, despite the fact that litle Percy seemed full and didn't want it at all. He kept looking at us like we were darn fools! Somehow, although his mom didn't appear to have any milk, she must have released just enough for him and he most likely didn't need the donated colostrum at all. A few days after his birth, she was producing a normal, full milk bag.

Percy has been going strong ever since and is now looking for his new forever home. He would pair up nicely with our other jack foal, J.T. Both are characters, and would bring a ton of happiness to your family. Percy can be weaned at the end of January and delivery is available if needed.

If you are looking for a donkey with tons of personality, you've found him! Don't let his name fool you, he's really not any trouble, just very "look-at-me" and loves being the first in line for everything. I expect J.T. to mature to about 34". He is a very thick foal, is very wide set, has a gorgeous red coat and just has a unique presence about him. He has a ton of reputable red ancestors throughout his pedigree from LN Redsonnehi to Valintino 50. J.T. will be registered and can be weaned in mid-December, just in time to go to his new home right before Christmas. A deposit will hold him for the right home.

Dam:  Windcrest Miss Betsy, 33" Gray/White Spot
Grand Sire:  Boone's Marble Fudge, 34" Brown/White Spot
      Grand Dam:  McDonald's McBubbles, 32" Gray/White Spot

Our first spotted foal of the year, and boy is she a pretty one! At first glance my 5 year old daughter said "We should call her Princess!", and so we did. Pryncess has beautiful markings, and her build is just as nice. Her full sister from 2006, Gypsy, has been maturing above our expectations, and her half sister, Baby, cannot be faulted in any way. We anticipate Pryncess doing the same following in both sister's hoofprints. She will be an asset to any brood band and should top out no bigger than 33". Pryncess is another foal in the running to possibly stay here as a future brood jennet. Betsy's foal are always so perfect, they are hard to part with!

Dam:  PMF's Barbara, 32.25" Dark Brown
Grand Sire:  Dino of Pygmy Acres, 30" Brown
Grand Dam:  PMF's Latasha, 34.5" Spotted

Bekkah is a gorgeous little girl, from head to tail. She's a rich, chocolate brown and is as square as can be. I expect her to mature to 32-33". Based on Barbara and Buddy's previous foals, Bekkah should mature to be a stocky, very correct jennet. She will fit nicely into anyone's herd and future brood band. Bekkah is another contender to possibly remain in our herd if we decide to keep any of this year's jennet foals. We think she is just about perfect.

If this little girl had been born closer to the 4th of July, I'd have named her Firecracker! She's got lots of spunk and character and is already an 'in your pocket' baby. Konnie has a nice background with mostly M&M breeding on her dam's side, and Lawzyday breeding on her sire's. She is only 1 week old in these photos and has lots of filling out to do. Both mom and dad are very stocky, and I expect Konnie to follow suit. She should mature around 32" and will make a sweet pet or future brood jennet for someone. Konnie will be registered prior to leaving our farm.

Very Light Red Jennet
DOB 1/06/08
Birth Height: 20"

Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Red
Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Red
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Red

Dam:  Shorecrets Adorable, 31.5" Gray
Grand Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Red
Grand Dam:  Hickory Hills Jessica, 32" Gray

This little girl is Dora's first foal. We had thought she was going to be gray like her mom, but she is actually a very light red. When Dorry stands alongside our gray donkeys, she stands out with her red tone. We think she will mature nice and tiny, most likely anywhere from 30-32" at most. Dorry has been spoiled since day one. She was born in extremely cold weather and things were very touch and go in the first 12 hours of her life. We had to bring the pair into our heated garage for warmth, dry her with a hair dryer and we bottle fed Dorry with colustrum milked from Dora for the first 6 hours or so because Dorry did not have the stength to stand on her own. Dorry took her first steps at about 6 hours of age, and has been going strong ever since! She is a bundle of energy and has that signature overly friendly personality you will find in most all of our foals. Dorry can be weaned in May or June and will be registered through the miniature donkey registry in Texas prior to leaving our farm. As with all of our donkeys, Dorry must go to a new home having at least one other donkey waiting upon her arrival as her pasture mate.

Congratulations to

Dorry is joining onf of our 2007 foals, Toby, at her

Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Dark Red
Grand Dam:  Gladybrook Ms. Ditto, 33.5" Dark Brown/White Spot

This little girl is Tyger's first daughter, and wow, is she ever nice! She is built solid, with a nice wide chest, short back and round rear. The best way to describe her is "thick". Katie has a lot of red highlighting especially around her face. She was black at birth so I'm not sure if she will shed out black or deep dark brown as she matures, but either way, she is gorgeous. Katie's older sister, Kandace, was retained in our herd and the two are almost carbon copies of one another. Kandace has exceeded our expectations, and we have no doubt little Katie will do the same.

Katie has ancestry that speaks for itself with LN, Lawzyday, My World, and Sunset Acres bloodlines dominating her full pedigree. There is really not much to improve on with this foal! It's awful tempting to keep her, but we have had 9 jennet foals born so far this year and only 2 jacks, so we are offering every foal for sale, even our favorites, as we try to decide which are our top picks to possibly retain in our herd!

34" Spotted Jennet Foal
Birth Height:  22"
DOB 10/16/04

Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, Light Sorrel
Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Sorrel
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Sorrel

Dam:  Boone's Little Spotted Rosebud , 34.5" Brn/White Spot
Grand Sire:  Boone's Spotted Dude, 34" Spotted
Grand Dam:  Boone's Little Rosie, 33.5" Dark Red

Little Laurel was named after our veterinarian's farm: "Laurel Highland Farm & Equine Services". Our vet, Dr. Earley, helped to save Laurel's mom (Rosebud) for us when she was very, very ill 2 years ago. After thousands of dollars in testing, x-rays, ultrasounds, medications and keeping Rosebud at his place for weeks on end, Rosebud made a remarkable recovery. We're still not entirely sure what was wrong with Rosebud, but regardless, we feel Dr. Earley helped greatly in her comeback! So here you go Dr. Edward Earley... your namesake is here! (Good thing it wasn't a boy, because his name would have had to have been "Eddie")

Laurel is a fabulous little spotted jennet. She would make a wonderful candidate for the show ring! Laurel is gorgeous with her even spotting pattern on both sides, and she's got the "look at me, I'm a queen" personality to go along with her beauty too. Laurel is carrying heavy sorrel genes on her sire's side, and spots and sorrels on her mom's. Just look at all of the "red" just in her parents and grandparents lines! We're not exactly sure of Laurel's color. Some days she looks gray spotted, some days brown and then there are times we swear her spots look sorrel. I think this one will take some time to tell! Regardless of the color, she is nice and square, has an even bite and her rear legs are as straight as you could hope for.

Breeding Status: Laurel was exposed to Tyger throughout the end of 2006 but came back in season through out the spring of 2007. We have removed her from Tyger and placed her in with our youngest jack, Maplewood's 27 Jasper, for a possible summer 2008 foal. This will be her first baby!

Sire:  Shorecrests Little Buddy, 32.5" Light Sorrel
Grand Sire:  Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, 29.5" Sorrel
Grand Dam:  Springlake Rosebud, 33" Light Sorrel

Dam:  Dewey Meadows Calli, 32.5" Dk Brn, Gray, Blk Spotted
Grand Sire:   Dewey Meadows Gucci, 31.5" Black
Grand Dam:  Dewey Meadows Calico, 34.5" Brown/White Spot

Wow! This little jennet is my pick of the litter, she is fabulous! Cammie's got the whole package - size, color, pedigree, conformation and personality. Most of her is a dark slate gray and white, but she has some small patches with brown and on one side of her face she has a black patch of hair and a little black speckled though out her coat as well. She is camouflaged! If I keep any 2007 foals, this one will be it, she's absolutely perfect. Cammie is so very tiny, I'll be surprised if she reaches 32" at maturity. She will make an outstanding show and/or brood jennet. This was Calli's very first foal and we couldn't be happier!

Grand Dam:  M&M Julia, 35" Fully Frosted Spotted White

Dewey is a sweet, sweet foal who will make the perfect pet for someone. He should mature out to around 34" or so, making him an ideal candidate as a cart donkey. Dewey is very gentle natured and adores attention. He will be registered prior to leaving our farm and is looking for a loving home having at least one other donkey companion. Dewey is only our second jack foal of the year, so if you are looking for a pet, come meet him in person and put your deposit down to hold him until weaning.

Black Jennet w/NLP
DOB 7/14/08
Birth Height: 20.5"

Sire:  Wit's End Tyger Heart, 33.5" Dark Spotted
Grand Sire:  Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, 31.5" Black/Brown w/NLP
Grand Dam:  Windcrest Noelle, 32.5" Brown/White Spot

Dam:  Shorecrest's Kandace, 31.25" Black w/red highlights
Grand Sire:  Sire:  Heartland Acres Gus, 31" Black
Grand Dam:  Shorecrests Kandi Kisses, 32" Red

We thought Tyger had outdone himself with his last daughter, Cynders, until this little bouncing bundle of fur came along! Rayzen is spectacular. She is so very tiny and yet has a perfect square build and awesome conformation just like her mom. Rayzen is Kandace's first foal and we are so excited to see the quality of foals we can expect from her in the future. We will be pairing Kandace up with Tyger again for an encore to be sure!

Rayzen is too cute, her photos don't do her justice. She doesn't have a speck of white on her except for a bit in her ears. I do think she has a visible cross, it is just difficult to detect at this point. Rayzen boasts a jam packed full pedigree, with notables including My World, Sunset Acres and Circle C Motown coming in through her sire and Lawzyday Cherokee, LN Redsonnehi, and LCR Valintino 50 just to name a few from her dam. Tiny sizes (all the way down to 29" Gladybrooke Skip) mixed with a rainbow of colors from spots to reds to grays, browns and blacks, make Rayzen's history as interesting as she is.

As with Cynders, I'm not guaranteeing Rayzen will stay on our for sale page for long. She is definately a top pick to stay on here with us, but with 4 more foals due this year, we are waiting before making a final decision. Visit our 'newborn' page for more photos!

Grand Dam:  Dewey Meadows Juliet, 35" Brown

Dam:  Dewey Meadows Lucinda, 35" Brown
Grand Sire:  LCR Valintino 49 (Winchester), 34" Dark Red
      Grand Dam:  Lazy C Ranch Philamena 49, 35.5" Gray-Dun

Nightshade quickly earned the nickname of "Nosey Nellie" after her arrival at our farm as a yearling straight from Dewey Meadows farm in New York. Nellie matured out a bit taller than we'd hoped, maturing to a solid 35" tall. We have decided that we need to cut our herd down at least a little this year, especially since I'm having a hard time parting with a few of my 2007 jennet foals! Because her height is taller than that of the rest of our girls, we have decided to offer this young, proven jennet to a new home at this time.

Nellie had her first foal, an uneventful pregnancy and delivery, on September 12, 2007. She had a gorgeous jennet foal with exceptional conformation and personality to spare, Shorecrests Elegance. Since Nellie had a fall baby, she has been given the winter off while nursing her foal and is currently open to breed to your own jack this coming spring. If she has not been sold by April 1st, however, I will be re-breeding her to our jack, Shorecrest's Little Buddy, for a 2009 foal and at that time, her price will go up. Nellie is up to date on all vaccinations, deworming, hoof care and selenium boosters.

If you like those Dewey Meadows bloodlines, combined with the black color, excellent conformation, and on top of that a young, proven jennet, then Nellie may be a good choice as an addition to your herd.

Grand Dam:  SNS Murphy Brown, 34" Dark Brown

Wow! We weren't expecting a black foal out of Diascia, and were very pleasantly surprised! We crossed her with Tyger last year in hopes of a spotted baby, but so far, Tyger's foals seem to be picking up the solid dark genes from his sire.... this one even has NLP like his grandfather, Speedway Racer. A very handsome boy, Benny has a bright future ahead of him as a wonderful pet for someone. He should mature to about 33" and not only has that gorgeous black color with no light points, but has the friendly personality to go with it. Ben has been registered with ADMS and is ready anytime to go to his new home having at least one other donkey as a friend. He is already good friends with Noah, also listed for sale. Sabrina is a perfect little jennet foal, from head to tail and everything in between! I love this foal, she has such a great personality and is put together like a little tank. She is tiny, and very square, back legs are great and her color is a bonus. I imagine she will go blacker as she matures. She is darkening daily it seems. Sabrina also has a red cast throughout her coat, compliments of her red sire, Buddy. Sabrina has a fantastic pedigree behind her, with mostly smaller sizes and lots of color. She would make the perfect addition to your show string or brood band.

Grand Dam:  Back Forty Farm's Clover, 32" Gray-Dun

Dam:  D.W.E. Miss Minnie, 33.25" Light Gray-Dun
Grand Sire:  Salt Marsh Farm's Ziggy Stardust, 32.5" FSW
      Grand Dam:  D.W.E. Miss Millie, 35.5" Gray-Dun

Gemini has lived with us for a little more than a year, and in that time, has proven to us that donkeys really do have the personality of a St. Bernard! Gemini is a very, very friendly 6 1/2 year old jennet. Last year she had a gorgeous jennet foal for us named "Daydream". We also had the pleasure of owning a son of Gemini's, Jasper, who for a time we had retained as a future breeding jack because despite his "just being gray", he was so perfect in every way, we could not fault him.

Gemini build-wise has a thinner structure. She is not a short, compact, stocky donkey, but we can attest to the fact that when bred to a well conformed jack, Gemini produces foals that are stocky and have excellent conformation from head to tail. Gemini dropped in weight after the birth of her last foal who was weaned in November. Because we felt she was too thin, we chose not to re-breed her at that time so she is currently open. Gemini is still at this time not quite back up to the weight we'd like to see her at. We would very much like to see Gemini go to a home with just a few other donkeys rather than a large herd so that her new owners can help her to maintain her weight in a more one-on-one setting. We are finding that difficult to do in our herd of 45+ miniature donkeys.

You will not find a friendlier or easier to handle donkey than Gemini. If I didn't think she would benefit more from being in a smaller herd, I would never even think of offering her for sale. She's just that good.

Grand Sire:  Fisher's Great Gildersleeve, 32.25" Tri-Colored Spot
Grand Dam:  Half Ass Acres Jody, 32.5" Light Brown/Gray/White Spot

Well, when we bred Shania (spotted) to Tyger (spotted) last year, we were kind of expecting, well, spots! Especially when considering their colorful ancestry. Little Noah decided to come out all solid gray to surprise us instead. He is cute as a button, just look at that face! I think his muzzle may go black. He started out with more white on his nose and it seems to be gradually disappearing. Since Noah's grandfather Racer has NLP, that is certainly a possibility. Noah should mature to around 33-34" and will make a perfect companion or cart donkey. He can be weaned the end of June and is looking to reserve a new home now! As with all of our donkeys, Noah will be registered and will only be placed in a loving new home having at least one other donkey as a friend.

Dam:  TST Dolly, 34" Gray *MSF (masked spotting factor)
      Grand Sire:  Untraced
      Grand Dam:  Untraced

One of the most unusual foals we've ever had, Punkin is a true Halloween treat! Her color is different than anything I've ever seen. Punkin is bright white, with dark eye rings on both eyes, and through her coat there are very light patches of red (pink). I had a gray and white foal years ago with the same "bleeding spots" and she eventually lost her spots and was considered Frosted Spotted White. I'm confident Punkin is going to do the same. As a weanling, she now appears totally white. We won't know what is underneath all of that baby fuzz for certain until she sheds out this summer. Regardless, Punkin is an adorable foal. She is stocky, shouldn't mature taller than 33", and is naturally friendly towards everyone. Her pedigree on her sire's side is filled with reds and lots of small sizes, so Punkin's future as a brood jennet is exciting. I had planned on keeping this foal, she was one of my 2007 "picks of the litter". With 16 foals expected this year though, I was talked into parting with Punkin and a few others I had not planned on selling in order to help reduce our numbers. Punkin is fabulous, her unique color will brighten up your pasture and her comical personality will brighten up your day!

Introducing "Toby"... we've had quite a few foals this year born with a red cast to their coat compliments of their sire, Buddy, but this little guy is full-out red, no question! The few sorrel foals I've had so far have been born light and matured darker. I'm guessing Toby will do the same. I would say his coat in person right now is a medium sorrel. It's difficult to capture his true color on camera, the sun plays tricks on the photos unfortunately. Regardless, he's a handsome little jack and should mature on the smaller side, around 32". He has a great build and even better pedigree behind him on both top and bottom, packed full with sorrels and small sizes. Toby will make a wonderful pet for your family!

Sophie is a very well balanced foal. She is one of the best proportioned foals we've ever had. She's got a nice short back, straight legs, and should mature into a fabulous brood jennet in the 33" height range. Color wise, Sophie sometimes looks dark brown with black legs, but other times she has a lot of red in her coat, and underneath the baby fuzz there is very dark brown/black. We've had a handful of foals this year that have had this same dark brown/red bay pattern at birth. One of them is shedding out black as we speak, so I have no idea what to say about Sophie's future color at this point! She has a good mix of blacks, spots and reds in her pedigree so it will be interesting to see what she can produce as a brood jennet.

This little girl is easily material for the show ring. If you want some new bloodlines to show now and later breed, this could be your girl! Sophie is a hard one for me to offer for sale, don't be surprised to see her come off my for sale page if not spoken for by weaning time!

Click here to see Jasper's complete pedigree!

Jasper came to us early in 2007 from a farm in northwestern Pennsylvania that had decided to sell out their donkey herd. We had originally planned to rehome Jasper, but the more time we spent with him, the more we realized what a fabulous little jack he truly is. Although not in our breeding program plans to add a "plain old grey jack" to our herd, Jasper's impeccable pedigree and perfect conformation could not be overlooked. Jasper is one of the stockiest, wide chested, thickest boned donkeys I've ever seen, and his back legs are a 10 out of 10, absolutely perfect. Although Jasper's dam is a bit taller than I'd like to see in a herdsire's pedigree, her ancestors have small sizes that we hope will compensate. Jasper's sire, Java, who happens to be an award winning show donkey, carries the likes of LCR Valentino 58 among various Windcrest bloodlines in his background. Jasper's sire, Java, is outstanding in every way and also boasts tiny sizes on his side of the mix, right down to his 28" red grandmother. Jasper is staying tiny and maturing perfectly at just a little over 1 year of age. We look forward to the possibilities he may bring to our breeding program in the near future.

Finally! Our long wait for a baby from Tyger is finally over! Kandi delivered a bouncing little red-headed bundle of joy for us who we've appropriately named "About Tyme!" Little Ty has the most unique coloring. He looks exactly like his mother did as a foal, having what I call "bay" markings with dark black legs and a body coat carrying some brown, black and mostly sorrel colors in it. I think Ty will look very similiar to his mother as he matures -- she sheds out dark sorrel in the summer and looks dark brown in her winter coat. He should mature somewhere between 32-33" and would make a wonderful gelding prospect for showing. Ty is maturing very nicely and we are offering him at this time as either a pet or future breeding jack. He's got a great personality and has both the pedigree and mindset combined with a superior build to go on as a herdsire.

We've waited a long time for a red jennet foal to come along, and she's finally here! Cherry Blossom is a fabulous little foal, very straight, nice build and her foal coat I would call a medium sorrel (red), so she may possible turn into a darker red as she matures. Cherry's pedigree couldn't be better -- it is completely full top and bottom. Her sire's side includes grandsire Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee (29.5" Sorrel), LCR Valentino 50 (32" dark sorrel) and LN Redsonnehi (31" Dark Sorrel) among many others. Her dam's sire was LN Red Sonfire (31.5" dark red) and her background is also very impressive going back to the original Sardinian imports. Cherry will make a fabulous jennet for showing now and breeding later. I would expect her to mature out to around 33".

Dam:  Boone's Little Rosie, 33.5" Red Roan
      Grand Sire:  Untraced
Grand Dam:  Boones' Little Rosealeta, 32.5" Sorrel

Of all my jennets, Rosebud has probably the best conformation of all. Her rear legs are perfect, and she throws foals that are exactly the same -- straight and correct. Rosebud is our oldest jennet, turning 17 this September. Rosebud has had occasional health issues for us the past few years, most notably her teeth need attention a few times a year. When she first came to us a few years back our vet was alarmed at the condition of her teeth, and worked diligently to get her back to normal. She tends to go down on weight in the winter time, which for us, having a large herd of 40+ donkeys, makes giving her the individual attention she needs, craves and deserves, a difficult task. We would love to see Rosebud go to a home with only a few donkeys, where she can be cared for on a more one-on-one basis. She's a very sweet natured jennet, and would pair up nicely with our other older jennet being offered at this time, Dorothy.

Rosebud has been pasture exposed to our newest young jack, Maplewoods 27 Jasper, out of Windcrest Java since the end of May. Although Rosebud normally breeds back easily for us, I do not feel confident that she has settled due to his young age, but just so you are aware there is an outside chance that she has. Rosebud is registered and is current on all of her vacciations until September 2007. She will go to an approved home only, where I feel she will be cared for as well as she is being cared for here. I prefer she go to a pet home with only a few donkeys so that she will be given proper attention. She has lots of years of love and companionship left in her for your family to enjoy.

32.5" Light Gray Jennet
DOB: 10/02/92

Sire:  Rainbow's Blizzard, 32" Dark Spot
Grand Sire:  Bumpus Farms Cunningham, 33" Spotted

Dam:  Hartman Donkey's Jean, 34.25" Gray

Dorothy is probably the sweetest miniature donkey you will ever come across. She is easy to work with, loves attention, adores children, and is currently looking for a nice new family to move in with. Dorothy had a difficult delivery for us in 2004 that resulted in an emergency C-Section, and she lost her foal. After letting her rest for a year, and after getting cleared from the vet to try to re-breed her, we have had no success so far in settling her, so we feel mother nature has decided enough is enough!

Dorothy has been pasture exposed to our jack, Buddy, for the past few months, but I've seen her come back in season and do not feel that she is bred (but just so you are aware there is that outside chance that she COULD be). We have decided that Dorothy will be much happier in a smaller herd situation as a pet for someone rather than lost in the crowd here with our herd of 40+ donkeys. She is registered and up to date on all of her vaccinations until September 2007. She has no health issues other than the breeding problems I've described. I will NOT sell her to a breeder as I do not feel that is the best situation for her, so please do not ask. Dorothy must go to a home with at least one other miniature donkey as a companion. She is a very sweet girl, and we will work hard to find the right home for her.

Melody is a sweet little classy gray jennet who will make a wonderful addition to your family as either a pet or future brood jennet... or both! Melody carries lots of sorrel genes from her fathers side so she could become a sorrel producer for you. Melody's mother and sister (Diascia) are two of our brood jennets and both produce nice small foals with exceptional conformation. I expect Melody will do the same, and also expect her to mature around 33-34 inches tall.

Virginia was born on the same day the horrible Virginia Tech shootings occurred on 4/16/07. We decided to name her Virginia in memory of those lost and as a sign of a new beginning. This little girl is everything her name implies.... sweet, pure and very feminine. She is tiny, tiny, tiny, super straight and I can't fault her in any way. I am dying to keep her and add her to our herd, but so far can't convince "the boss" to let me as our herd has grown to 42 donkeys now.

Virginia will make a wonderful addition to anyone's herd or family. I doubt she will mature over 32" considering her small birth height and ancestry -- which includes 32" Charlie Bandito as her great grandsire on her dam's side and Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee (29.5" Sorrel) as her grandsire on her sire's side. Other notables in her pedigree include LCR Valentino 50 (32" dark sorrel) and LN Redsonnehi (31" Dark Sorrel).

Grand Dam:  M&M Julia, 35" Fully Frosted Spotted White

This little guy came along to our farm in a package deal with his dam, and he's been quite a happy little thing. He has a wonderful attitude and is extremely people friendly. Given the taller sizes of his ancestors on his dam's side, we think he will mature out to around 34", although he is still quite small at almost 2 months of age. He will make a fine gelding and could be trained to cart or even shown - he seems to have the attitude and conformation to do well that he probably inherited from his show-winning grandsire, Windcrest Java. Bandit can be weaned toward the beginning of June and will be given his first round of vaccinations prior to leaving our farm. His registration paperwork has been sent in and will be given to you upon delivery.

Grand Sire:  DBF's Little Frosty, 35" Gray/White Spot
Grand Dam:  KMA's Mona Lisa, 32.5" Gray w/Red highlights

Frosty was a long.. long wait for us! We thought his mother was due weeks earlier, but apparently we were a bit off. Frosty is a gorgeous little jack! His spots are definately red right now, I'm not certain if they will remain that way or not. His sire, Buddy, has thrown a few sorrel spots for us, and none have reached maturity yet so I'm not going to guess as to whether the red and white stays or goes! Frosty has a long pedigree behind him on his sire's side with a lot of LN breeding (LN Redsonnehi, LN Nighthawk, etc). His grandfather is Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, a 29.5" red jack, with over 600 ancestors in his pedigree. On his mother's side, Frosty comes from a line of Boone's breeding.

Frosty is a very tiny foal, and stands very correct, with nice back legs and a nice square build and an absolutely beautiful head. We considered offering him as a future herdsire prospect because we can't find anything to fault him on at all -- but, there are a few taller ancestors in his pedigree, including a 35" grandsire, that have helped us make the decision to offer him as a very, very nice pet or show gelding for someone. I would guess Frosty will mature under 32" given his birth height and his parents sizes. We are offering Frosty by himself when weaned or you could take him home right now as a package with his mom, Betty Jane (information on Betty Jane below!)

This little guy is just adorable. The beginning of his life was a bit tramatic -- his mom, Dolly, went into labor in the middle of the afternoon, and delivered out in the pasture a few days before we thought she was ready. A more experienced jennet of ours stole the baby from her, and wouldn't let Dolly near. Poor little thing didn't know who the heck his momma was! Luckily, we discovered the foal after what must not have been more than 20 minutes from his arrival and separated distraught mom, Dolly, and baby from the herd and gave them privacy inside the barn. Murphy, the kidnapper, haha... even tried to jump her way over a stall door to get into the barn after what she was convinced was her baby. It was quite an eventful birth for all of us! As an update, Murphy calmed down after a few hours of pacing and pawing to get into the barn, and was fine by the next day. Dolly and the baby bonded immediately and all are living happily ever after!

Jeb holds a very special place here on our farm. At 2 days old, he became very depressed and weak and lost interest in eating. We had to milk his very patient mom, Shania, and bottle feed him for about 3 days. The vet ran various tests on both mom and Jeb, but came up with nothing other than an infection that Jeb somehow came down with. Little Jeb ran a high temp for about a week, but the medicine the vet put him on knocked whatever it was right out of him, and now, he's a healthy, happy little guy who loves to run and play with his best friend, Smokey. Oh, and spoiled, did I mention spoiled? Jeb's been getting so much attention from us, he's pretty sure he's the king of the farm. Uniquely colored as well, his spots are light gray and some appear light red plus he is perfectly patterned left side and right. He's got a nice even bite and a great build, and I'd expect him to mature around 33" or so. Looking to place Jeb in a life-long home with a very special family.

Smokey is a handsome little guy, very stocky, wide chested, great overall build. He has such an expressive face and just seems to know he's special by the way he carries himself. His coloring is a bit strange... he started out as a charcoal gray/black and now, seems to have black legs and face, and a deep chocolate body under his sun-bleached baby fur. We're not really certain what he'll turn out to be! We're looking for a special home for Smokey, we've grown quite attached!

Spotlite is a friendly little jack, who is currently busy being spoiled by my kids. He has a strong pedgiree behind him on both sides, containing lots of sorrel and small sizes. Spotlite is built like both of his parents, nice and stocky, has a great set of legs and should mature around 32". He is nice and square, and although he is quite young yet, so far has shown us he has potential to become a future breeding jack but we also think he'd make a fabulous pet for someone. For that reason, we're offering him as a pet or future breeding jack prospect.

Daisy is a very, very friendly foal. She's been a bit spoiled by my kids, as has her best friend, Maggie (see below). Daisy has a very nice build, she's square and has nice straight back legs, a good bite and solid front. She's got her dad's head and a bit of his sorrel coloring in the highlights on her grey coat. She has a spectacular pedigree behind her on her sire's side with a ton of sorrel, including her 29.5" grandsire Lawzyday Farms Cherokee, LCR Valintino 50 and LN Redsonnehi. Her mom's background adds Charlie Bandito to the package. She will make a fine show or brood jennet for anyone's herd. We have too many girls with similiar bloodlines or she would be staying on our farm.

Maggie is a favorite here on our farm. She is a very nicely built jennet, who is full sister to Laurel Highland, a 2004 jennet that we retained. We expect Maggie to mature just as nicely, if not even better, than her sister Laurel has done. Maggie comes with the sorrel genes from her father's family who include 29.5" grandsire Lawzyday Farm's Cherokee, LCR Valintino 50, and LN Redsonnehi just to name a few. Her grandmother and greatgrandmother on her mother's side send sorrel her way as well. She makes a fine candidate for the show ring and as a future brood jennet with her pretty color pattern and perfect rear legs. Maggie would be a sure pick to retain for our herd had we not already kept her full sister Laurel.

Lucifer is a great little jack who has the happiest personality -- that is the best way I can describe him, he's just a happy little guy! He should mature to a light sorrel and around 32" or so. This little guy will make an excellent herdsire prospect. He is tiny and compact and very correct. We can't fault him anywhere. Twizzler has an overly sweet personality and is so very laid back. He has a nice wide set chest and a perfectly square build and an even bite. The summer sun has bleached Twizzler's baby hair a bit, but he is black with a barely visible cross and has the smallest star on his forehead, just like his mother. He has no light points other than the white on the inside of his ears. We would expect him to mature around 31" based on previous foals we've had out of Gus mixed with Cori's family history of small sizes. We are very proud to offer Twizzler as a very promising jack prospect!

This little guy has herdsire potential written all over him. Underneath his summer sun bleached baby fur is a jet black coat. His mother has no cross, but Abe does have a slightly visible cross despite his jet black coloring. Abe has no light points, the inside of his ears are even black. This little guy should be able to throw blacks easily, and the NLP gene comes from both his sire and his dam, so we'd expect NLP babies out of him often. Crispie is a very feminine little jennet. We originally thought she was a dark brown but she appears at one month of age to be a rich, deep sorrel. She has a strong sorrel background on her sire's side and is a Charlie Bandito Great Granddaughter on her dam's side. Cindy is a non-breedable jennet, so we are selling her as a pet/companion only. She has no health issues other than she's been pastured with a jack for the past three years and has never conceived. We would like to find her a loving pet home where she'll get lots of attention, and she must go to new home with at least one other donkey as a companion.

This little guy was previously sold, but the new owners were unable to take him due to family issues. Sparky is already weaned and is ready to go to a new home. He should stay small at maturity, as both parents are about 32". His gorgeous sorrel color makes him stand out in the pasture. Sparky will be registered and also have his first round of vaccinations, deworming and a hoof trim prior to going to his new home. He has a few buddies here already, if you are looking for a pair of pets, ask us who we may be able to pair up with him for you.

Dixie is an adorable little jennet with a solid pedigree to back her up. She is very correct and square, and should become a fabulous breeding or show jennet as she matures. Judging from her birth height she shouldn't get very big either. Coming from a gray and white spotted mom with a heavy spotted background and a black sire with small dark colors in his pedigree, this classic little grey dun jenny should be able to surprise us all with her future foals. Dixie has personality on top of personality, give us a call and come meet her in person!

Great conformation, small size and a friendly disposition were what brought Gus to our farm and earned him the honor of becoming Shorecrest's very first miniature donkey herd sire. Gus is an extremely stocky little donkey.  He's built like a tank and is full of muscle, has great legs, a straight top line, a round back end, and a beautiful small head.  Gus is black with his cross only slightly visible and his known ancestry traces back to the original imports several times.  All in all, he's simply a wonderfully put together little donkey who is producing beautiful babies for us -- which is the most important quality in any herd sire!

Jingles is a tiny girl, sticking close to a 30" height as a coming 3 year old. She has a great pedigree, boasting 303 known ancestors, including Rockbridge Maracus, and Luigi, throughout her 5th and 6th generations. She has matured into a very solid little jennet and we're very happy with her development in recent months. Since passing through her gangly stages, we are very confident she will become a valuable addition to our brood jennet herd.

Breeding Status:  Jingles spent the spring, summer, and fall of 2003 pasturing with our black, 31" herd sire, Heartland Acres Gus. We are sure their tiny sizes will produce a fabulous, hopefully colorful, foal in the spring of 2004!

This little one has us stumped on his color. He started out as a grayish roan with sorrel highlights. Now he's turning darker, and his ears are red. He may end up sorrel after all, we really aren't sure! The best way I can describe him to you right now is he is a charcoal/blackish color with red ears and red highlights! Jet's mom, Red Jetta, is very well put together, and so is his dad, Gus. He should mature in the 32" range. He's very friendly and active and would love to find a new home with one of his half brothers also for sale on this page!

Here is a very black jack (with a visable cross) that will make a super show gelding or family pet for someone. He should mature fairly small, as his full sister, Morgan, is just a hair over 30" at 2 years of age. Judging by Morgan, Major should turn out to be quite a stocky boy. This tiny tike is overly friendly, love people and is put together pefectly. He has a good pedigree with PMF Charlie Bandito as a great grandsire. Spongebob is a very pretty boy and super friendly. He will probably mature in the 33" range I would expect, making him taller than most would prefer for a herdsire. We think he will be better suited as a gelding, and we know he would love to go to his new home along with his half brother, Dexter. The pair are inseparable, and we prefer they stay together and go to a home with someone just wanting a loving pair of pet donkeys. Spongebob has a slight overbite, and is not yet gelded. Super pedigree, with lots of color and small sizes, and she just may be the most correct foal we've ever had. She's gotten her sire's small head and has a fabulous square build. Meghan has a very spirited personality... she's very curious and has a gorgeous small head and stocky build compliments of both parents. Her dam is out of a black/brown jennet, and Lucy consistently throws this dark color. We're confident Meghan will do the same considering the color in her background, which includes black, black/brown, brown, spotted, gray and frosted spotted white. Meghan looks so much like her half sister, Morgan, it's unreal! Both have the same round build and striking small, dished faces combined with that beautiful dark coloring which comes straight from their sire.

Anna is a super sweet dark brown jennet who is looking for a loving pet home. Anna is unbreedable due to an old leg injury in her shoulder which is unoperable. She walks with a limp that will be present for the rest of her life, and the added weight of a pregnancy would be unbearable for her. She is on no medication, but may one day need to be. Anna gets along with other donkeys wonderfully, is easy to handle under all circumstances including farrier visits and loading onto the trailer. Anna is young and has many, many years ahead of her to give and receive lots of love! Looking for a special donkey home with at least one other donkey as a buddy.

Peaches foaled a gorgeous black NLP jennet on April 9, 2003. We are offering them as a pair, yours for the taking now while this spectacular foal is still a newborn.  She's very correct, has a personality to die for, and was sired by our 31" black herd sire, Heartland Acres Gus. "Ty" is a super tiny, stocky, square, well-built jack.  At 10 months of age he hasn't yet cleared 29" and is keeping his great build.  We think Ty will make super babies one day.  Check out his full brother, PMF Dark Moon Walker, herd sire with our friends Sharon and Gary Mathews at Brasstown Brayers farm!

Pebbles is our latest jennet foal out of our black herd sire, Gus. All of his foals have that tiny little head, and Pebbles is no exception. She's sweet as can be, has super straight legs, and should mature small. Pebbles will make a super brood jennet or even show donkey. She has those warm, dark eyes and expressive face.. mixed with her dark color and great build and winning personality, you really can't lose!

Grand Dam:  SNS Fudgie, Brown (out of a 31" sire)

Dam:  Hickory Hills Jessica, 32" Gray

If you are looking for tiny, you found it!! This little guy is SMALL, very, very SMALL!! He is gorgeous and has the same overly friendly attitude as the rest of our foals. Jesse's mom, Jessica, is one of our best jennets, having super straight legs, nice square & stocky build and a personality to die for. We are sure this little one will be the same. His pedigree is wonderful, tracing back to various imports on both his sire and dam's sides -- in all he has close to 250 traceable ancestors. His bite is right on, his legs are perfect, and it's easy to tell already that he has inherited his sire and dam's stocky, square build and small pretty head. Can you really resist that face?!?

Grand Sire:  My World Buster, 30.5" Sorrel
      Grand Dam:  Pine Grove's Rhubarb, 31.5" Gray-Dun

Doctor Pepper has wonderful herd sire potential. Not only does he have a beautiful coat, with a super dark black nose, but he has the best set of rear legs you could ever hope for.  His bite is right on, his personality is perfect, he has a gorgeous head, and he's got the color in his background to produce blacks & sorrels.  He is as friendly as they get.  Spend one minute with "Peppy" and he'll win your heart!

Silly (see below) and Pepper have become best friends... and we don't have the heart to separate them. We've decided to offer them as a package in hopes of finding them a home together as future geldings.. Both have super conformation and personalities.. Drive them, show them, or just love them for a long time to come!

Silver/Gray Jack Foal
Birth Height:  23.5"
DOB 5/02/02

Sire:  Cubby, 33.5" Gray & White Spot

Dam:  Rolling Ridge Dorothy, 32.5" Light Gray
Grand Sire:  Rainbow's Blizzard, 32" Dark Spot

Silly is the sweetest, friendliest little baby.  He is a very light silver color right now, has nice legs and nice overall build. Silly's grand sire is the famous Rainbows Blizzard, who was sired by a 33" few spot white jack.  During Silly's first hours of life, he spent some time lying in my lap with his little tongue hanging out.  I'd push it back in, and he'd stick it right back out... He's a very "Silly" little boy!!  We think Silly will make a wonderful pet addition to your family!

Grey Jennet W/Small Star
DOB 5/13/02

Sire:  Cubby, 33" Spot

Dam:  Rolling Ridge Angelina, 33" Gray W/Star
Grand Sire:  Hartman Donkeys Earl, 33.75" Dark Brown
Grand Dam:  JF Iris Gonzales, 35.5" Brown

Angel is out of one of our newest brood jennets, Angelina. She is very angelic, petite and proper and has an adorable little face with a tiny star thanks to her mom! Angel's got a decent pedigree containing about 100 known ancestors, some of which are traced back to the original imports. Angel's Grand Sire was sired by Circle C Little Motown, so there is quality in her background. Angelina, Angel's dam, was bred prior to our purchase of her, so we don't know much about Angel's sire except that he was a gray and white spot. There is an interesting combination of grays, browns, black, spotted and even light sorrel in her background! Everyone needs a guardian Angel... Don't miss your opportunity to bring this one into your life!!

Jazzper is a very loving, easy-going donkey who gets along with everyone.  Sweet and easy to work with, leads wonderfully and will make a fabulous, flashy gelding with his dark coloring.

Update!  Jazzper has gone to a new home!  Nancy is adding Jazzper to her crew and Jazzper is now "enrolled" in her clicker training classes!  Nancy plans on putting Jazzper in parades and taking him on tours to nursing homes, etc.  Nancy and Bob are very gracious hosts and incredibly special people.  Jim and I hope the next time we visit them though that there will be NO FOG so we can actually get to see their beautiful views in ski country!  We thank them again for giving Jazzper such a wonderful, loving home!

"THE Procedure"

Shorecrests Jassper, gelding 10,506 bytes)

~ Dedicated to Our Precious Jazzper ~

You lost two close pals today my dear friend,
But how brave you were from the start to the end.
As you fell to the floor when the shots took effect,
I was there to cushion and support your sweet little neck.
When awakening from dream land, you snuggled your head deep into my arms
Trusting that I would shield you from further troubles and harm.
We're truly sorry for the pain we've caused by ending your time as a jack,
But now sweet boy, you can play with all the gals without getting any flack!
