What a gorgeous girl! Shawna is the most beautiful black and is built like a little tank underneath all of that color. She's got a nice wide set chest, square frame and perfect little back legs. She is the best of our 2011 foals so far this year for having the whole package -- color, conformation, size, pedigree. Shawna would make an awesome show donkey and future brood jennet for someone wanting to add more black to their herd. Her sire is a beautiful tyger spot and her maternal grandmother is a spot, so you could breed her to a spot when she matures and hope for a nice dark spotted baby! Our second foal of the year, and another small package from two small parents. Samuel should mature in the 32" range, with mom and dad being 32½". I am so tempted to keep this little one as a future herdsire, but it would do me very little good since we have kept too many of Buddy's daughters in our herd that we would be unable to breed Samuel to. Samuel is the entire package. He's got the small size, wonderful build, personality on top of personality, and, of course, the color. His maternal grand-sire is Cisco & Sons Little Tyke, a 30" brown jack. His paternal grandsire is Lawzyday Farms Cherokee, a 29" red jack. Samuel seems to have what it takes to hopefully one day produce small, correct, and colorful foals. He is just absolutely perfect!

Sadie is a gorgeous dark red jennet foal with an awesome build. She is square and straight, and is just a beauty to watch. Her parents are 32" and 32½" and they both have many small reds in their backgrounds. I would expect her to mature into the same 32" size range. She is in the process of being microchipped and registered. Sadie is reluctantly offered for sale at this time as we are trying wholeheartedly to reduce our herd size in half this summer.
